Aggregation Server Not Available
For a weblogic server consisting of many managed servers, often in the server logs we may find a recurring log as below
<Error> <ALSB Statistics Manager> <BEA-473013> <Aggregation Server Not Available>
The reason for the same lies with the deployment ALSB Domain Singleton Marker Application. This application runs as a singleton service on one of the managed servers in the cluster. Data collection is performed on each of the managed servers in the domain. The ALSB Domain Singleton Marker Application is responsible for the collection and aggregation of data from all managed servers in the domain.
This application always runs on one of the managed server as shown below
In case the targeted server is down (In this case MS1) then the other running managed server will give the aggregation error as below
Starting the targeted server will resolve this error.
